Product Description

This 18 × 22 × 2.5 cm metal plate combines a bench hook with a flat inking surface. Opposed folds at the ends form an upper stop for the printing block and a lower stop against the table edge. It is available in black, gray, and white.

During carving, printmakers place the lower fold against the table edge and the upper fold against the block to limit forward movement. For inking, they spread ink on the flat plate and roll it evenly with a brayer before transferring it to the block.

One edge rests against the table, while the other supports the carving block to help stop it from sliding forward.
