Product Description

T0272 is a floor-standing manual etching press with an iron frame, four casters, an 11 cm stainless steel roller, an aluminum press bed, and a felt blanket. The press measures approximately 100 × 90 × 120 cm and has a maximum printing area of 60 × 100 cm. A large ring handwheel drives the roller, while pressure screws at both ends adjust the roller setting.

For intaglio printing, the operator stacks the plate, paper, and felt on the press bed before rolling them through the press. Independent pressure adjustment at both roller ends lets the operator set the press around the full material stack, and the handwheel allows the rolling speed to be controlled during trial and final printing. The casters also allow the floor workstation to be repositioned in a studio or classroom.

Manual Ring Handwheel Drive

The large mechanical handwheel requires no electricity and lets the operator control rolling speed during studio or teaching use.
